The #4 latches have the most variations and handle options and, together with the #84 and #94 models, are the largest and most powerful FM approved explosion venting latches made. For applications requiring multiple unlinked latches, these Heavy Duty models are ideal. Available in cast iron, they provide a lever assisted opening with no connecting linkage necessary. This model may be combined with a cast iron model #4 (#4HD) or purchased seperately as a stand-alone lever (#410).
Made completely of stainless steel, the Model #91 replaces our original cast iron and zinc Model #1 with the same pressure release range, but with optimum performance in caustic, corrosive or abrasive environments.
The Model #2 is available in iron, aluminum or brass cast housings. Brixon #2SPAL and #2B models are the only FM approved sparkproof latches available through any manufacturer. Stainless steel internal components are optional in non-sparkproof models.
